Princely Toads And ‘Scorched-Earth’ Initiatives

(Have you seen Team Willard’s veep choices? It’s no wonder this Willard toad is desperately seeking distraction — in the form of the closest thing to “princely” he can find…) “Nitwits? Willard probably feels his search is over. He may very well believe he has an embarrassment of riches, if you will. How to choose?” (July 7, 2012) “Here we are — 48 days away from Tampa — Willard has yet to announce a preference for his running mate. I would never presume to sway Team Willard’s  pick, but isn’t it (a distant second to) refreshing to see a duly elected sociopath (like Paul LePage of Maine, who is) not only unrecalled by the voters of the state, but still allowed to decide what’s best for all; not just his chosen constituency?”

(It’s not often I beg forgiveness; but the trawlers got me all confused) “Does it mean someone is FOR something when the alternative presented by Willard will clearly be much worse? Then mark me down as a ‘YES!'”

(You know; Willard may be onto something — assuming he is advocating failure to focus upon middle-aged palliatives signaling modest ability to pursue other physical acts. Pretty sure SOMEONE has spotted the difference in vigor between “owners” and their cleanup crew…)

(Truthfully, I don’t understand why Willard and Boehner don’t get along better. Both have shown unsurpassed aptitude and will to strip the maximum wealth from those least like themselves. What’s not to build a bromance upon?)

(Pearls of ‘wisdom’ from Jim DeMint) “The President’s health care law will not reform anything, (It certainly hasn’t reformed the “We The Jim DeMint” narrative) but is already undermining what does still work in America’s health care system.” (I lost my SC glossary — any clue what he’s referring to?) “We cannot build a free market health care system (You said a mouthful. Oh, wait — you meant that as if it was a GOOD thing…) on this flawed structure of centralized government control,” (Have you taken a good, hard look at SC lately?) “we must repeal all of it and start over with commonsense solutions” (This guy says “we” a lot — then he brings up “common sense”?) “that make health care more affordable and accessible for every American. We can allow Americans to purchase lower cost plans from other states, support state high-risk pools to cover those with pre-existing conditions. The same freedom that made America strong and prosperous will make us healthier, too, so long as politicians remember that the health care system is supposed to serve our people, and not the other way around.” (Watch out, Jim — you sounded dangerously close to a moment of clarity, just there — you might wanna get that looked at…)”

>>> Gov. Sam Brownback (R-KS). “Yep — if Willard picks THIS guy for his running mate — at what point do the ‘American people’ he’s ***momentarily*** worried about ‘win’?” >>> “Kansas dropped to 40th in the country in infant mortality, and to worst in the nation for African-American infant mortality, said Christie Appelhanz, vice president of public affairs of Kansas Action for Children in Topeka.” >>> >>> >>> “Our Governor also is comfortable with applying for a $6.6 million dollar grant to promote marriage, while rejecting federal money for health care reform within our state and proceeding with the SRS office closures.” (Oh, man — you GOTTA pick THIS guy, Willard — he fits right in with the REST of your “new-found” scorched-earth initiatives…)
